The Duchess of Cambridge and her fashion choice yesterday caused the Reiss website to crash twice in a few hours, as fans dashed to the online store to get their hands on the timeless Shola dress, £175.
Featuring a box neckline and asymmetric overlays on the skirt and central band around the waist, the Shola body-con silhouette perfectly flattered Catherine's svelte figure.
Within minutes the dress was completely sold out with a Reiss spokesperson tweeting: "Due to unprecedented demand, Shola mania has crashed our website! We are endeavouring to bring the Reiss brand back to you ASAP!"
This is the second time Catherine has chosen to fly a flag for the British High street, when she chose a Reiss white dress for her official engagement photo with Mario Testino.
This dress is the latest in a series of high-street looks Catherine has sported, with affordable pieces including Warehouse, Zara and LK Bennett.
