Last week I managed to test ‘They’re Real’ by Benefit, one of the most coveted mascara’s to be released.
Having eyelashes which appear so flat they look ceramically straightened, I had serious high hopes for this shiny metal tube, especially when the outer packaging seems to claim there isn’t anything beyond this jet-black mascara! I was impressed, not only did it volumise, the lashes were lengthened, separated and for once curled!

The staggered bristles hich grab close to the root help to boost the length and the precision bristles curled the lashes close to the inner corners and below. What’s more - you don’t even need to layer this mascara on, for a natural, no-clump, finish simply wiggle the brush a few times to achieve luxurious, smooth lashes which won’t smudge!
Benefit are due to release They’re Real on 27th August, although for ONE DAY ONLY on 6th August (Saturday) Benefit are setting up a preview at the stores shown below, including the Benefit London Boutiques. If you want lashes that you knew were there but liked to hide, They’re Real is the mascara for you!
Be sure to check opening times of the stores and arrive early to avoid disappointment.
