This season, we welcome new womenswear label JEXIKA. Designed by, Milan-born, Jessica Rampezzzotti the debut AW11 collection illuminates the feminine form by exploring the understated grandeur and elegant seduction of metropolitan glamour.
Drawing her inspiration from icons of Italian Luxury and combining it with her intuitive sense of style, Jessica fine-tuned the base for her label and debut collection. The drive to make her bold vision a reality took her in search of the finest manufacturers, craftsmen and fabrics that Italy could offer.
Using a bold yet timeless colour palette of scarlet, black, and nude, Jexika cleverly entwines elegance with vibrancy. For example Jexika juxtaposes chunky chain detailing with delicate handmade lace details on starkly-shaped body-con dresses and pencil skirts.
I adore the show-stopping Siren dress, £1,456, worn by Daisy Lowe at GQ Magazine, Man of the Year Awards. This radiant strapless body-con dress flairs out at the ankle with a voluminous ruffled train and is made from sumptuous handmade lace!
