Weekend Reading: Jewellery brand LeiVanKash by Leila Kashanipour

Last week I fell in love with a jewellery brand via twitter. LeiVanKash Jewellery, founded this year by London-based designer Leila Kashanipour, consists of four magical collections of hand made bespoke rings, necklaces and bangles. Not only has Leila's jewellery graced the pages of fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Elle Magazine, but the brand has also drawn a cult celebrity following such as Olivia Palermo, Florence Welch and Pixie Lott to name only a few.

Leila graduated from the renowned Central Saint Martins in 2009, and later received her Diploma in Diamond Grading by attending London's Gemological Institute of America (GIA).

Within her first year of university Leila's jewellery was already stocked in boutiques in London and Dubai. A year later a collaboration with the fashion house Eskandar began which is still in continuation.
Leila has worked for a variety of esteemed jewellery brands such as Suzanne Syz in Geneva, Asprey and the great Stephen Webster in London.

I am drawn to the dramatic yet elegant LeiVanKash pieces, awash with magical traits and a combination of influences, from glam rock to the natural world.
