A Lanvin Christmas at Claridge's - Lanvin's Creative Director, Alber Elbaz, creates a magical Christmas tree!

I couldn't love a Christmas Tree more than the towering tree on display at fashionable location, Claridge's. Each year Claridge's present a spectacular Christmas tree, but this year the designing rights were down to Alber Elbaz at Lanvin.
The whimsical Christmas tree, complete with Mr Elbaz as the fairy on the top, greets guests in the Art Deco Lobby.

The designer follows in the footsteps of a subsequent Claridge's devotee, John Galliano, who created a Dior tree for the renowned hotel in 2009 and 2010.
This years design features his signature marionettes representing the Lanvin family, Mr. and Mr. Lanvin, plus Mr Lanvin's mistress, a Claridge's doorman and a hotel maid dressed in Lanvin-designed uniforms.
Commenting on the collaboration, Lanvin Creative Director Alber Elbaz says; “The concept of the Christmas Tree decoration is to create an installation that carries the spirit of Lanvin, an infusion of tradition and modernity at the same time. The tree is to emanate and bring heartwarming joy to all who work and stay as guests at Claridge's hotel: It's my way to wish them a very Merry Christmas.”
You can see the Christmas tree in the hotel until January 2, or visit now after Christmas shopping with the most elegant afternoon tea in town.
