The Sport of Shopping - Styling Cheltenham Fashion Week's Olympic Editorial for Cotswold Style

Last month I was asked to style the Olympic Issue of Cotswold Style for Cheltenham Fashion Week. Our last editorial for the Cotswold publication was for the June, Jubilee Issue, shot in the stunning surrounds of Cowley Manor. I opted for long gowns in patriotic colours, accessorised with elaborate millinery and diamonds.

For this shoot I wanted to combine fashion with sport, not only contrasting the styling from June, but also providing a narrative, entitled: 'The Sport of Shopping'. Our shoot location was the wonderful Leisure @ Cheltenham, who allowed us to use their track, diving pools, and gym.

Throughout the story our model, Fran, prepares for heavy lifting; weightlifting with designer handbags, gets set to run toward the sales, re-creates the hammer throw with a handbag, goes on a mammoth Cheltenham shopping spree and finally relaxes in the sun!
