High Street Hits - Zara Autumn/Winter2012

Each season I receive an intense shopping pleasure, which has now become an Autumn/Winter ritual. On visiting the Zara Knightsbridge store I stand in the doorway for at least a ten seconds, eyes transfixed, looking at one of the most carefully edited High Street collections available. Although price-points have increased slightly, the quality and design of Zara's Autumn/Winter collections for mostly under £100 is astounding.
For aw12, Danish model, Freja Beha fronts the Zara Woman campaign and, British Model, Cara Delevingne is campaign girl for Zara TRF. The collection features studded bags, leather jackets and boots, along with a softer side with a skirt embellished with pearls.
My favourite piece is the Studio Blazer withCombined Frill, reminiscent of something we could see at Celine, this understated blazer is transformed with a faux-leather frill peplum.
The accessories are also super sharp. I would pair these medium heel, leopard print pointed courts, with either a leather shift and chunky knit cardigan or this demure crochet dress and the Zara 'it bag' from last season which has been updated for aw12 with studs.
In short, Zara's aw12 collection is my favourite on the high street and I am sure you will agree!
