This week was London Fashion Week and I have spent my time watching show after show and collection after collection. Because of this I have sidelined my never-ending mound of emails and instead researched this weeks #shwishlist by the wonderful tool which is twitter!

As regular readers will know, I am a self confessed twitter devotee - even though it was my Mother who actually told me it existed..oh the shame! - and it is my daily companion, whether I am in the UK or abroad. Not only is it vital to keep up-to-date with fashion news, which impacts on my job, it is also a great way to stay ahead of queues, traffic jams and breaking news. If you are reading this and have not succumbed to twitter, I recommend you join now.

One of the brands featured, Black Heart Label, is a new fashion and accessories brand established by Amal Fashanu. I met Amal at one of the fashion shows when we were seated alongside each other and she explained about the core principles for her brand, which I respect. The Black Heart Label uses fashion as a campaign against discrimination. Read more about Amal's brand here.

While I was waiting for a show to start or on one of my many bus trips (yes, I still navigate Fashion Week on public transport) I took to twitter to find brands and products that interested me. I have discovered some great new British brands such as accessories brands Fleming and Winter Crown and also had the opportunity to catch up with new products by companies I have loved for a long time; such as skincare brand Double Zero One (001) and luxury nightwear brand Olivia von Halle.

Once again  #shwishlist encompasses a variety of products from fashion, beauty and lifestyle products.
