This months Jewellery Notes present the animal-tastic Hillier London jewellery collection, by Katie Hillier.
The quirky and completely adorable pieces feature animal pendants made from sterling silver or gold twisted paperclips, simple and pretty rings which stack elegantly and an array of hair accessories, all offering the same playfulness and woodland creatures.
Katie Hillier, who was recently appointed Creative Director of Marc by Marc Jacobs alongside Luella Bartley who is Womenswear Designer Director, owns an impressive list of fashion houses where she has consulted or designed, in particular the accessory lines of Marc by Marc Jacobs and Victoria Beckham.
There are few people who can resist the charms of bunnies and at Hillier London these are cast in 18ct Gold and set with pave white diamonds. I adore the Bunny Love Ring too much. I just need to work a little more before I add it to my personal collection. Amongst the many pieces of animal jewllery I have fallen for, I also love the paperclip alphabet letters which are simple and easy to wear.
